Our products are made from EVA, a flexible, waterproof, and long-lasting material that offers the timeless look of woven design with modern durability.
EVA is lightweight, non-toxic, and resistant to water and humidity, ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. It ensures every piece maintains its shape and color over time while minimizing environmental impact through long product life and recyclable potential.

We work closely with carefully selected manufacturing partners who share our commitment to responsible production and quality assurance. Each production batch undergoes independent testing and certification by SGS, verifying that our EVA material meets EU REACH standards and contains no Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) above the allowed threshold.

Beyond materials, we continue to support and promote the artisan communities in Senegal, where BAKKA HOME’s story began.
Through ongoing collaboration, we help market their work and cooperative production, enabling leading and emerging interior design retailers to produce and expand their collections in the region. This strengthens local livelihoods while preserving traditional weaving knowledge for future generations.
